Counseling, Psychology, Leadership & Life Beyond the Black and White
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, psychology educator, and leadership professional with a particular fascination for the wonderfully complicated business of being human.
I've spent my career exploring why people think, feel, lead, and behave the way they do. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the most interesting questions rarely have simple answers.
We live in a world that loves absolutes. Right or wrong. Success or failure. Strong or weak. Thriving or struggling.
But real life? It's a little messier than that.
That's where the gray area comes in.
Through counseling, speaking, teaching, and writing, I explore the questions, contradictions, and complexities that shape our lives.
Because sometimes growth isn't about finding the right answer. It's about learning to ask a better question.
You can love your work and feel burned out by it.
You can be confident and still have doubts.
You can be successful and still want something different.
You can care deeply about others and still need boundaries.
The gray area isn't where clarity disappears. It's where understanding begins.
For when life gets complicated and being the strong one gets exhausting. A space to unpack the hard things, challenge old patterns, and find your way forward.
Big ideas, honest conversations, and the occasional uncomfortable truth. Bringing psychology to life through engaging presentations that challenge assumptions.
Where curiosity meets the classroom. Explore my work in psychology education, student mentorship, and the ongoing adventure of teaching people about people.
Part psychology, part philosophy, part things I probably shouldn't say out loud. Thought-provoking reflections on human behavior, relationships, leadership, and life in the gray.
Maybe you're navigating a difficult season, rethinking an old assumption, exploring a new idea, or simply trying to make sense of the wonderfully complicated world around you.
Whatever brought you here, there's probably more to the story.
And that's exactly where I like to begin.
Let's explore the gray area together.
